Howland Technology has a few nonprofit organizations that it and its employees are proud to support. Portions of our profits are re-invested every year in charitable organizations. Giving back to communities is an essential component of who we are as a company. These organizations, and many others, are some that are supported annually by Howland Technology.
Los Pequeños Hermanos
Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos is an international organization that cares for orphaned and abandoned children in Latin America and the Caribbean. Founded in 1954 by Father William B. Wasson, NPH has homes for orphaned, abandoned, and poor children in nine different countries. NPH has served over 20,000 needy children throughout its history and currently serves around 3,000. https://www.nph.org/
Deborah’s Place is a Women’s Shelter in Chicago dedicated to helping the victims of homelessness. In operation since 1985, Deborah’s Place works to provide essential services such as housing, case management, employment training, education, and healthcare to women in need. https://www.deborahsplace.org/
An international organization dedicated to reducing poverty and ending world hunger, Heifer International works to strengthen local economies through the empowerment of women and enhancing the capacity of small independent farmers. Heifer International has been in operation for over 70 years, in 125 different countries, helping 22.6 million families. http://www.heifer.org/
Action Mobility Foundation
The Action Mobility Foundation provides charitable grants to assist with financial and mobility needs within the disabled community.
